Matney Trio
The Matney Trio is three brothers who have a great gift of singing together for the Lord. Their folks are from my church in Buffalo and we thoroughly enjoyed them several times there. Come enjoy them in concert on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 6:00 p.m.
New Christians Class
Jeff Hunt will begin a new Sunday School class for new Christians, folks from other denominations and those who want to learn not just Baptist beliefs but why we do church the way we do. We will be using the Discovering Church Membership Class #101 taught at Saddleback Church by Rick Warren. This class will be in the old library just outside of the sanctuary.
“Share Jesus without Fear”
Most faithful Christians want to share their faith. Many have tried, received a negative reaction, felt rejected and thought they had failed. As a result, they do not witness anymore and now feel guilty. Other Christians simply don’t know how to share their faith. With this study you absolutely cannot fail when you share your faith! Because the three-step process presented in this study is so simple, you may wonder why you have not been taught this approach before.
On Sunday night, Oct. 11, we will be taking some time of the evening service for the introduction of “Share Jesus without Fear”. The class for this study will be Tuesday nights, starting Oct. 13. It will go from 7:00 until 8:00 for four weeks. There is no cost for this study.
